State context
Arizona gifted education requirements
Arizona requires public school districts to identify gifted learners and provide an integrated, differentiated learning experience during the regular school day.
For families: Each district must maintain a board-approved Gifted Scope and Sequence. State criteria include qualifying scores in verbal, nonverbal, or quantitative reasoning, while districts choose their local service model.
