How students are considered
Published processParents, counselors, students, teachers, community members and administrators may recommend a student at any time. The process moves through nomination, screening, selection and placement. Evidence includes achievement and ability tests, grades, portfolios, interviews and teacher and parent checklists. A trained three-person committee decides placement and sends written notice.
What service can look like
Published modelElementary students receive inclusive strength-based instruction emphasizing research, leadership and higher-order thinking. Junior-high students receive pull-out work in core subjects, arts, leadership and creativity. High school adds AP and honors options, with enrichment available across levels.
