How students are considered
Published processTeachers, counselors, parents, students and others may nominate a K-12 student at any time through the campus G/T coordinator. The district requires at least three qualitative and quantitative measures and review by three trained educators. Transfers receive a service plan; appeals may present new data to a district review committee and then the superintendent.
What service can look like
Published modelKindergarten and Grade 1 receive trained-classroom service, Grades 2-3 receive two weekly pull-out hours and Grades 4-5 receive two weekly pull-out hours. Middle and high school add differentiated instruction, projects, independent study, UIL and advanced coursework.

04Request the name, result and weighting of every measure reviewed by the three-person committee.
05If appealing, use the district form, supply genuinely new data and observe each review level stated in the notice.
06After placement, confirm the trained classroom, weekly pull-out hours or secondary differentiated and advanced options.
