Published processTeachers, counselors, parents, students and others may nominate a K-12 student at any time through the campus G/T coordinator. The district requires at least three qualitative and quantitative measures and review by three trained educators. Transfers receive a service plan; appeals may present new data to a district review committee and then the superintendent.
Published modelKindergarten and Grade 1 receive trained-classroom service, Grades 2-3 receive two weekly pull-out hours and Grades 4-5 receive two weekly pull-out hours. Middle and high school add differentiated instruction, projects, independent study, UIL and advanced coursework.
