How students are considered
Published processA teacher, administrator, parent, student or community member may refer. Evidence can include the Kingore Observation Inventory, parent and teacher inventories, portfolio, interview, cognitive or academic aptitude, achievement, grades and classroom work. A trained three-person Assessment, Review and Evaluation committee reviews the profile. Families receive written results and may appeal within ten days; reassessment is available in a later annual cycle.
What service can look like
Published modelK-6 students use a trained-teacher cluster model plus weekly Excel pullout and subject-specific Spark pullout; Grades 3-6 also complete independent research. Grades 7-12 students take at least two advanced core courses, including gifted core, Honors and AP options, with acceleration available when appropriate.

06After placement, confirm the child's cluster teacher, Excel or Spark schedule, research expectation and later advanced-course pathway.
