Published processThe district uses qualitative and quantitative evidence. Published qualification levels are the 95th percentile for G/T and the 99th percentile for ASPIRE, with ASPIRE also requiring supporting evidence. Enrolled families use the district's testing application; a separate out-of-district ASPIRE process applies to eligible incoming grades.

What service can look like

Published modelElementary students receive GT LEAD pull-out services and cluster-classroom instruction at every campus. Middle-school options include GT Discoveries in English language arts and social studies plus optional GT Independent Study. High-school students use GT Advanced and AP core courses. ASPIRE provides peer-grouped Humanities, Mathematics and Science at designated elementary, middle and high-school campuses.

04Request each percentile and qualitative result and compare it with the district's published 95th-percentile G/T or 99th-percentile ASPIRE standard.
05Obtain the written placement decision and current review or appeal instructions.
06If placed, confirm the child's LEAD and cluster schedule, Discoveries or Independent Study courses, GT Advanced or AP pathway, or designated ASPIRE campus.
