K-2 evidence can include Star literacy/reading, Star mathematics for Grades 1-2, F&P reading, prior report-card grades, teacher input, and KBIT. Grades 3-6 can use F&P, Star reading and mathematics, NJSLA ELA and mathematics, prior grades, teacher input, and CogAT.
Published modelTier 1 provides classroom differentiation, compacting, learning centers, and flexible grouping. Tier 2 adds pull-out or other enrichment beyond the classroom. Tier 3 can include advancement, acceleration, advanced classes, dual enrollment, independent study, differentiation, and mentorship; identified K-6 students may receive small-group pull-out.
