How students are considered
Published processThe district considers academic achievement, grades, student performance and products, parent, student and teacher recommendations, intellectual ability, and academic strengths in verbal or linguistic, logical or mathematical, science, and social studies or history areas. A public parent-recommendation form is available.
What service can look like
Published modelKindergarten through Grade 5 participates in pull-out before school. Grades 6-7 receive individualized academic programs through gifted courses, and Grades 8-12 continue through Honors and AP. The district must document individual plans and maintain its service roster.

04If admitted, confirm the before-school K-5 schedule or the Grades 6-12 course pathway, prerequisites, and annual continuation.
05Start concerns with the principal, then the curriculum director, distinguishing eligibility disagreement from legal noncompliance.
06For unresolved statutory noncompliance, document facts and dates within the one-year limit and track the county's 60-day review.
