Submit evidence showing advanced achievement or cognitive potential, including creativity and academic habits that benchmarks may miss.
Request every benchmark, nomination, teacher input, CogAT component, and schoolwide comparison used.
If appealing, submit the district form by the notice-specific deadline with the disputed evidence and keep proof.
Track the expected two-to-four-week appeal response and supply requested testing or documents promptly.
If admitted, obtain the actual differentiated or advanced service, schedule, goals, and continuation requirements.
