Published processThe K-6 matrix can use SAGES, grade-specific ELA and mathematics criteria, standards-based LAL and mathematics report-card results, DRA reading level, performance criteria, and teacher recommendation. Teachers may nominate students missed by preliminary screening, and a student with relevant behavioral characteristics may be considered with teacher, parent, and administrator input.
Published modelK-6 enrichment focuses on individualized opportunities that apply foundational skills through innovative, creative, and critical thinking. Grades 7-12 receive extended opportunities through Honors or AP courses and differentiation within regular classes.
