For Grade 3 placement, all Grade 2 students take NNAT3 and the district weighs NNAT3, report cards, benchmarks, and teacher recommendation equally. Grade 6 placement uses Grade 5 NNAT3 plus NJSLA, final report cards, final benchmarks, and teacher recommendation in a matrix. Grades 3-5 are reviewed at each year-end.

Grades 6-8 receive enrichment in regular classrooms, while students showing higher mathematics ability may enter Math Honors.
