Your starting checklist

Turn the published process into clear next steps.

Confirm current instructions with the district before submitting. Bloomfield does not predict placement or reproduce protected assessments.

01Contact the gifted coordinator for the current parent-nomination form and ask when the next identification review occurs.
02Describe the child's demonstrated need for different pace, depth, grouping, or content rather than relying only on high grades.
03Provide authentic classroom, testing, performance, or work evidence that helps an individual case study.
04Ask which multiple measures were considered and how they map to the selected SPARK service.
05Request the actual delivery plan—flexible grouping, compacting, differentiation, pull-out, or specialized program—and its frequency.
06For a compliance concern, use the district's public-complaint process after documenting the local program question.
