Published processThe first districtwide P2E identification opportunity begins in the second half of Grade 2. In Grades 3-7, a parent or teacher may nominate a student during the published window. What service can look like
Published modelTeachers differentiate instruction in Grades K-2 with support from P2E staff. Identified students in Grades 3-5 meet twice weekly, Grade 6 meets weekly and Grades 7-8 meet daily for one marking period for thematic, interdisciplinary enrichment and projects. Grades 9-12 may pursue separate CTE academy pathways through an annual January application.

04Request the eligibility evidence and written decision after screening, including the measures and local comparison used for the child's grade.
05If appealing, write promptly to the gifted coordinator, explain the extenuating circumstances and attach relevant work samples; do not rely on outside psychological testing.
06After placement, confirm the child's actual P2E frequency: twice weekly in Grades 3-5, weekly in Grade 6 or daily for one marking period in Grades 7-8.
