Your starting checklist

Turn the published process into clear next steps.

Confirm current instructions with the district before submitting. Bloomfield does not predict placement or reproduce protected assessments.

01Before winter screening, ask which CogAT administration, FastBridge measures, and Renzulli teacher observations will be used for Grade 3 or Grade 5 review.
02Request the student's evidence by subject and share advanced classroom work or examples of reasoning that may not be visible in test results.
03For Grade 4 or Grade 5 accelerated mathematics, ask for the comprehensive math-assessment result and the role of each placement measure.
04Request the written enrichment, accelerated-math, or Honors decision and how FastBridge will be monitored after placement.
05Confirm the actual PowerTime enrichment schedule in Grades 3-5 or the ELA, mathematics, and science Honors schedule in Grades 6-8.
