Published processThe handbook lists NWEA MAP, LAS Links, CogAT, IAR, district common assessments, teacher nomination, and Characteristics of Effective Learners. Support intensity responds to performance in core instruction, differentiated opportunities, and supplemental support. Early kindergarten admission separately requires a child turning five from September 1 through November 1, parent filing before June 1, academic and cognitive assessment, and the stated readiness thresholds.

What service can look like

Published modelTier 1 is K-8 classroom differentiation planned with accelerated coaches. Tier 2 adds before- or after-school enrichment with a building coach. Tier 3 may use an individual WISC-IV and a Differentiated Education Plan for students with an IQ of 120 or above; middle schools also offer Advanced Inquiry in Mathematics and English or Spanish Language Arts.

05Before middle school, request the current AIMES selection criteria and placement decision for mathematics and English or Spanish language arts; for early kindergarten, confirm and file before the June 1 deadline.
