What the evidence confirms
Gifted Education Services
Henry County Schools provides differentiated gifted learning at all grade levels through advanced, conceptually challenging, in-depth, and complex content matched to student strengths.
How services work: The district uses five state-approved models: resource classes, advanced content, cluster grouping, collaborative teaching, and innovative models. Accelerated mathematics, middle-school high-school courses, honors, and AP extend the continuum.
How students are identified: Referrals may result from systemwide testing or be made by families, educators, students, or others. School teams review the referral, obtain consent, and assess mental ability, achievement, creativity, and motivation under Georgia's two eligibility pathways.
