What the evidence confirms

Challenge Gifted Services

Carrollton City Schools provides differentiated gifted instruction through its Challenge plan, using state-approved models selected around individual student needs.

How services work: Eligible students receive at least five weekly gifted segments through advanced-content classes, resource classes, collaborative teaching, mentorship or internship, and other approved pathways.

How students are identified: Self, family, educator, administrator, counselor, support-staff, and automatic referrals are available. Evaluation and placement follow Georgia's mental ability, achievement, creativity, and motivation criteria.
