Colorado gifted education requirements
Colorado requires administrative units to identify and serve gifted learners and to maintain comprehensive and annual program plans under the Exceptional Children's Educational Act.
For families: Identification uses a body of evidence rather than one score. Every identified learner receives an Advanced Learning Plan, while available programming and optional early access vary locally.
