Published processThe published Grade 4 process considers teacher input, a Grade 3 Smarter Balanced score of 4 in reading or mathematics, OLSAT at or above the stated 50th percentile indicator, and KBIT2 at or above 110. A composite of all measures identifies students with extraordinary learning ability rather than relying on one result.

What service can look like

Published modelGrades 4-5 receive services across district schools. Grades 6-8 select honors or International Baccalaureate pathways, and Grades 9-12 select AP, IB, music, or arts options. District policy also supports supplementary materials, curriculum extensions, differentiated learning, and acceleration.
