GATEWAY Gifted Program
GATEWAY provides differentiated instruction, accelerated materials, enrichment, creative problem-solving, arts exploration, and advanced secondary pathways.
How services work: Elementary and middle-school options include classroom differentiation, workshops, summer enrichment, and field trips; high-school options include honors, AP, regional Governor's School, and summer residential programs.
How students are identified: All second-graders take the OLSAT. Teachers, families, students, or other adults may nominate by April 1, followed by testing and a committee review of ability, achievement, observations, and optional portfolio evidence.
