CATS, Prisms and Advanced Coursework

Clarke County's named continuum moves from twice-weekly elementary enrichment to middle-school research projects and advanced high-school coursework.

How services work: CATS serves K–5 through twice-weekly depth and complexity groups; Prisms develops research and mentorship skills in middle school, followed by honors, IB, AP, and selected dual-enrollment courses in high school.

How students are identified: The division publishes a CogAT screening explanation, parent and teacher referral forms, and an identification and placement timeline for families seeking gifted services.
