Gifted and Talented Services
Williamsburg County School District provides academic and artistic gifted programs, classes, and services designed around students' academic, creative, social, and emotional development.
How services work: The district serves identified students in grades 3–12 through local programs, classes, and services. Its public page does not provide a school-by-school schedule, so families should confirm the current setting and subjects with the district.
How students are identified: All second-graders receive CogAT and Iowa census testing. Administrators, parents, teachers, and students may refer for academic or artistic screening; academic eligibility requires two state dimensions, while arts screening includes interview, audition or demonstration, and portfolio review.
