Academic and Artistic Gifted and Talented
Clarendon County School District provides academic gifted instruction and an artistically gifted pathway in visual art, theatre, dance, and music.
How services work: District school pages document dedicated gifted teachers and project-based academic activities, including design, teamwork, and real-world problem solving. Artistically gifted students receive advanced arts opportunities after district screening.
How students are identified: All second-graders complete CogAT and Iowa screening. Students in grades 3–12 may be referred for artistic screening by administrators, teachers, counselors, parents, or students, followed by portfolio review, audition, and interview.
