Gifted and Talented Program
Anderson School District Three provides state-identified gifted learners with accelerated and enriched instruction across core subjects and advanced secondary pathways.
How services work: Grades 3–8 use state-approved special classes in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. High-school learners continue through honors English and mathematics and other advanced course options.
How students are identified: Students qualify under South Carolina rules by meeting two of three dimensions—reasoning ability, academic achievement, and intellectual or academic performance—or through the state's high-composite aptitude pathway. All second-graders receive statewide CogAT and Iowa screening.
