Academically or Intellectually Gifted (AIG)

Warren County uses countywide screening and collaborative learner review to provide direct, differentiated, and accelerated services for gifted students.

How services work: Options include specialist pull-outs, classroom inclusion, trained cluster classrooms, subject or grade acceleration, enrichment, advanced mathematics, honors, AP, Career and College Promise dual enrollment, and annual DEP planning.

How students are identified: All second- and fifth-graders receive an aptitude screen each fall. K–12 referrals remain open year-round, while teams also review repeated EOG or EOC strength, above-grade diagnostic performance, aptitude, achievement, work, observations, and parent or teacher evidence.
