Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG)
Randolph County recognizes and nurtures advanced academic and intellectual potential through rigorous, relevant, and engaging learning that also addresses social-emotional needs.
How services work: Specialized services are matched to demonstrated ability or potential, with the district publishing identification, service, extracurricular, family, educator, and learner resources under its 2025–2028 plan.
How students are identified: Universal screening occurs in grades 3 and 5. Districtwide referral and review procedures provide multiple opportunities and evidence sources so students can demonstrate potential across grade levels.
