Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG)

Lincoln County develops advanced learners through differentiated services, academic rigor, leadership development, and opportunities for responsible contribution.

How services work: Grade-banded K–3, grades 4–5, grades 6–8, and grades 9–12 service options enhance and extend the regular program, with additional specialist-led enrichment groups available from assessment data.

How students are identified: After referral and family approval, a school AIG specialist gathers evidence under local criteria. Identified students receive annual Differentiated Education Plans, while screened students who do not yet qualify remain eligible for monitoring and rescreening.
