Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG)
Granville County's program recognizes and develops giftedness and high potential through an 'AIG all day, every day' model spanning academic, intellectual, social, and durable skills.
How services work: School AIG specialists serve elementary, middle, high, early-college, and virtual learners, complemented by classroom differentiation, advanced courses, AP, early college, enrichment, and early-entry options.
How students are identified: The district uses K–12 screening and referral pathways, local norms, aptitude, achievement, teacher observation, and other learner evidence for intellectual, reading, mathematics, and combined identifications under its 2025–2028 plan.
