Academically or Intellectually Gifted (AIG)
Graham County recognizes diverse forms of gifted potential and provides a locally planned continuum of differentiation and advanced-learning services.
How services work: Collaboratively developed DEPs connect classroom differentiation, flexible grouping, enrichment, acceleration, independent learning, advanced coursework, and social-emotional supports to individual needs.
How students are identified: All third-graders receive aptitude screening. Educators, families, administrators, counselors, or other staff may refer, while annual achievement review, local evidence, prior identification, and requested testing provide additional entry points.
