Academically or Intellectually Gifted (AIG)

Clay County combines talent development and formal gifted services to provide advanced learning responsive to students' demonstrated academic and intellectual needs.

How services work: Student plans coordinate classroom differentiation, flexible grouping, enrichment, acceleration, independent work, and advanced secondary course options according to readiness and identification area.

How students are identified: Universal aptitude screening occurs at the beginning of fourth grade. School teams also use ongoing academic, classroom, observation, nomination, and talent-development evidence to consider students across K–12.
