Academically or Intellectually Gifted (AIG)
Camden County uses universal screening and multiple indicators to build an equitable gifted program with services matched to each learner's strengths and needs.
How services work: An annually reviewed DEP guides differentiated classroom instruction, flexible grouping, enrichment, acceleration, advanced coursework, and support coordinated by the AIG facilitator and school leadership team.
How students are identified: All second-graders take CogAT, with qualifying results automatically referred for further review. Referrals remain open in every grade from staff, families, students, or community members and combine quantitative and qualitative evidence.
