Accelerated Learning Programs: Magnet and T.A.D.

Wicomico provides project-based, differentiated programs for academically gifted and high-performing learners.

How services work: The countywide elementary Magnet Program at North Salisbury serves qualifying students in grades 3–5, while Thinking and Doing (T.A.D.) provides project-based gifted instruction across grades 3–8.

How students are identified: The district identifies academically gifted students through its published criteria; CogAT qualification is available for nonpublic students entering grades 3–5, and Primary Talent Development evidence begins in grade 2.
