Gifted and Talented

Kent provides an inclusive continuum of enrichment and acceleration through local schools, with early talent development and advanced secondary pathways.

How services work: Primary Talent Development serves PreK–2; elementary students receive differentiated and accelerated content through flexible grouping, and secondary students use rigorous STEM, AP, and dual-enrollment courses.

How students are identified: School teams review multiple criteria including achievement, test scores, work products, and performances. The school informs families how identified needs will be addressed.
