Program for Gifted Students
Towns County provides special instruction for K–12 learners with advanced intellectual, academic, or creative ability through a detailed continuum spanning core subjects and enrichment.
How services work: K–5 offers advanced content, resource enrichment, and grouping; grades 6–8 combine advanced content, clusters, and resource work; grades 9–12 provide honors or advanced content across English, math, science, and social studies.
How students are identified: Families, educators, counselors, administrators, peers, and students may refer; qualifying achievement scores trigger automatic review. A school team evaluates ability, achievement, creativity, and motivation with family consent.
