Quest Gifted Program

Newton County's Quest program provides specialized instruction for gifted learners, including elementary enrichment and advanced academic classes at the middle-school level.

How services work: K–5 Quest is an enrichment program taught by specially trained teachers. Middle schools offer advanced Quest classes in science, language arts, social studies, and mathematics when teacher resources are available; secondary options follow the district's published service-model guide.

How students are identified: Families, educators, counselors, administrators, peers, students, and other knowledgeable people may nominate. Automatic referrals use qualifying current achievement or cognitive scores, followed by review, family consent, and Georgia eligibility evaluation.

Social Circle City School District

Gifted Program

Social Circle City develops critical thinkers, creative problem-solvers, self-directed learners, and empathetic collaborators through rigorous, differentiated gifted curriculum.

How services work: Elementary and middle schools use advanced content, cluster grouping, and innovative models; high school uses advanced content and AP. Curriculum develops cognitive, research, and metacognitive skills.
