St. Elmo Center for the Gifted / Advanced Learning
Muscogee County School District combines a weekly elementary gifted center with school-based middle- and high-school services and broader advanced-learning pathways.
How services work: Most eligible grades 1–5 students attend St. Elmo one day each week for problem-based enrichment in creativity, logic, research, communication, and problem solving; designated elementary magnets serve on site, as do middle and high schools.
How students are identified: First-graders are automatically screened with CogAT, and families or teachers may refer K–12 students during fall and spring windows. Family permission is required, and Georgia eligibility rules govern assessment and placement.
