QUEST Gifted Education
McDuffie County's QUEST program extends the regular curriculum with rigorous, differentiated learning that develops higher-order thinking, research, creativity, communication, independence, and problem-solving.
How services work: Elementary schools use resource, cluster, advanced-content, or approved innovative models; middle schools use advanced content, enrichment, and clusters; high school offers AP, honors, dual enrollment, and gifted resource courses. Eligible students receive at least five gifted instructional segments weekly.
How students are identified: Educators, families, students, peers, and other knowledgeable people may refer, while qualifying achievement, ability, or Georgia Milestones results can trigger automatic review. Formal evaluation collects evidence in achievement, mental ability, creativity, and motivation under Georgia Option A or B.
