EXCEL Program for Gifted Services

Lumpkin County's EXCEL program provides academically challenging, differentiated instruction for intellectually advanced students during the regular school day.

How services work: Students receive differentiated instruction through Georgia-approved models at elementary, middle, and high-school levels. Families should contact their school for the model, subject, and schedule attached to a placement.

How students are identified: Educators, counselors, administrators, families, peers, students, and other knowledgeable individuals may refer. Eligibility follows Georgia State Board of Education criteria.
