Gifted Education Program
Liberty County provides differentiated gifted education for K–12 students with potential for exceptional academic achievement under local procedures and Georgia's gifted rule.
How services work: Families receive annual written notice of the model, teaching methods, time allotment, objectives, and evaluation used for their student. Elementary services include enrichment, acceleration, and in-depth study through challenging units.
How students are identified: Teachers, counselors, administrators, families, peers, students, and other knowledgeable individuals may refer. Families receive notice and a conference opportunity after evaluation, and consent is required for service.
