Spectrum Gifted and Advanced Programming
Clarke County's Spectrum program serves gifted and advanced learners at every grade level through critical and creative thinking, higher-order reasoning, advanced research, and accelerated academics.
How services work: The district publishes elementary, middle, and high school service models and offers advanced-content options in grades 5–8. Services are designed to challenge advanced learners while supporting social-emotional development and equitable access.
How students are identified: Teachers, counselors, administrators, families, peers, students, and other knowledgeable individuals may refer K–12 students. Evaluation considers mental ability, achievement, creativity, and motivation under Georgia eligibility rules.
