Gifted Education
Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools provides gifted services at every elementary, middle, and high school, adapting content, process, products, and pacing for advanced academic and creative needs.
How services work: Services emphasize depth, rigor, peer interaction, enrichment, and acceleration. Local sites determine delivery schedules, while high schools extend the pathway through advanced coursework, AP, Governor's Honors, competitions, and other enrichment.
How students are identified: Automatic referral uses qualifying i-Ready results in grades K–8 or PSAT, SAT, or ACT results in grades 9–11. Families, educators, peers, and students may also refer; eligibility follows Georgia's psychometric or multiple-criteria pathway.
