Gifted Education Program
Palm Beach County delivers innovative instruction beyond the basic curriculum to challenge gifted learners, develop quality work, and nurture their distinctive characteristics.
How services work: Models include full-time Gifted Centers with a gifted-certified teacher at each grade level and other differentiated school-based services governed by the student's Educational Plan.
How students are identified: Families, educators, staff, students, or other knowledgeable people may refer. The district universally screens second graders with NNAT3; Plan A uses demonstrated need, gifted characteristics, and qualifying IQ results, while Plan B serves eligible underrepresented groups.
