Gifted K–12
Hillsborough County provides enriched, individualized, strength-based curriculum addressing gifted students' academic, intellectual, leadership, creative, social, and emotional needs.
How services work: Services provide enrichment and acceleration aligned with each student's Gifted Education Plan. The district continuum includes school-based differentiation, a Center for Gifted Studies, and a project-based Enrichment Summer Scholars Program.
How students are identified: Identification includes screening, referral, and evaluation under Florida criteria. Families who suspect giftedness may contact the school's guidance counselor to begin the process, with a priority on equitable identification of underrepresented learners.
