Quest Academy Gifted Program
Hernando County supports gifted learners' advanced cognitive processes and distinct social-emotional needs through challenging, differentiated instruction.
How services work: Grades K–8 receive a full-time gifted program at Quest Academy within Challenger K–8, using differentiated curriculum across core subjects plus advanced resources. Eligible students may continue gifted services through high-school graduation based on need.
How students are identified: Florida eligibility requires demonstrated need for a special program, a majority of gifted characteristics on a standard scale or checklist, and qualifying individually administered intellectual assessment results.
