Gifted Education
Clay County provides K–12 gifted services supporting critical thinking, creativity, curiosity, and distinctive problem-solving through individualized planning and differentiated instruction.
How services work: The district provides K–12 gifted services through Educational Plans and a continuum of differentiated, enriched, accelerated, and advanced opportunities; the exact model is selected around grade level and learner need.
How students are identified: Clay uses K–12 referral and screening tools, gifted-traits scales, Florida's standard pathway, and an approved Plan B matrix for eligible underrepresented students. Families may begin by contacting their school.
