Gifted Education
Individually designed services develop cognitive and affective process skills through topics beyond the regular curriculum and investigations of real problems.
How services work: Services are designed around the individual student's needs; the district overview emphasizes advanced investigations and process skills rather than a single uniform class model.
How students are identified: Students may be referred at any time; all second and fourth graders are observed, with eligibility based on qualifying IQ results or a matrix of aptitude, characteristics, and performance.
