How students are considered
Published processA family or teacher referral begins screening and body-of-evidence collection. The team reviews multiple qualitative and quantitative measures under Colorado criteria, then communicates the local decision. Students who need more evidence may receive talent-pool support while the record develops.
What service can look like
Published modelProgramming is shared among classroom teachers, gifted coordinators, administrators, counselors, families, and students. After identification, an Advanced Learning Plan can organize differentiation, enrichment, acceleration, advanced work, and academic and social-emotional goals based on student need and local capacity.

02Describe the student's specific strength area with examples of advanced performance, potential, creativity, or leadership.
03Provide work samples, assessments, observations, accomplishments, and any context relevant to equitable identification.
04Ask what evidence the team will collect, when it will review the body of evidence, and how the written decision will be shared.
05If identified or placed in a talent pool, review the ALP or service plan and document goals, programming, responsibilities, and progress checks.
