How students are considered

Published processA referral triggers review of existing evidence and does not automatically mean more testing. The team may consider cognitive and achievement results, classroom performance, portfolios, teacher observations, parent input, creativity, leadership, problem solving, advanced work, and talent samples. No single measure decides eligibility.

03

What service can look like

Published modelEvery identified student receives a collaborative Advanced Learning Plan with academic and affective goals. Elementary services may combine classroom differentiation, enrichment, and pullout programming; talent-pool and social-emotional supports help students whose needs are advanced even before formal identification.
