Published processA parent or teacher may refer a student by contacting the child's school office. A score at or above the 97th percentile on a state-adopted assessment measuring logical or creative reasoning qualifies for gifted services. Students in Grades 5-12 may also qualify through academic subject-test scores and teacher recommendations, so older students should ask the school to explain both routes.
Published modelK-4 students receive daily differentiated instruction in a gifted cluster classroom and a weekly hands-on pullout emphasizing engineering, coding, robotics, creative problem solving, and quarterly field trips. Grades 5-8 use STEAM curriculum, honors classes, and differentiation. Grades 9-12 offer honors, Advanced Placement, dual-credit college courses, and academic competitions.
