How students are considered
Published processParents, staff, and community members may refer at any time. Pea Ridge gathers teacher and parent recommendations, observations, grades, test results, and at least two subjective and two objective measures. A committee of at least five, including the principal, counselor, and teachers, makes placement decisions without relying on a single criterion or cutoff and sends families a permission or non-placement letter.
What service can look like
Published modelK-2 classrooms receive whole-group enrichment designed jointly by the gifted and classroom teachers. Grades 3-6 receive at least 150 minutes of weekly pullout using literacy, math, STEAM, coding, robotics, Quiz Bowl, and interest projects. Grades 7-12 use differentiated honors, pre-AP, AP, and concurrent-credit classes plus college and career planning; Scholars Academy is an additional rigorous option open beyond formal GT identification.

05For secondary planning, compare honors, pre-AP, AP, concurrent credit, and Scholars Academy against the student's interests and workload.
