How students are considered
Published processAll second graders are tested through Child Find, and parents or teachers may make a standard referral for students new to the district or showing a need for enrichment. After consent, LinC gathers NNAT aptitude, TABs characteristics, and three performance indicators on the state matrix.
What service can look like
Published modelQualified students in Grades 3-6 meet in the LinC resource room for three hours each week; Grades 7-8 meet for one and one-half hours weekly. LinC specialists also consult with K-8 classroom teachers, while advanced courses support gifted learners in later grades.
